CHRISTMAS EVE
Our annual get-together was held this year at the home of Paul and Marcia Buckhout. At Paul’s suggestion, this year’s entertainment was given over to story-telling. After a little bit of reluctance to talk about oneselves, many of us donned the green story-teller’s cap and plunged in. As usual, fun was held by all.

On Wednesday, Ginny and I and Cara headed out for the University of Kentucky in Lexington, where Cara will soon begin her freshman year. CELEBRATING CARA AND JAY
The happy parents of Cara Malanowski and Jay Jensen brought their families and friends to dinner at Orofino’s on Friday. Congratulations Cara and Jay! Well done! Now on to Kentucky and Rensselaer. (That’s a photo of Cara and Jay as babies on the cake.)
GARDNERTOWN GALLOP
I don’t think Cara and her horse actually ever gallop in these shows, but neither walk nor trot nor canter works with Gardnertown in a headline. It doesn’t matter; she looked great. Cara will be off to Kentucky in the fall with a half-scholarship in her pocket, and we are very proud.
